Welcome to the Princess Anne Hunt (est. 1927)
Founded in 1927 and recognized by the Masters of Foxhounds Association (MFHA) in 1937, Princess Anne Hunt (PAH) is located in Charles City County and our Hunt Territory extends from Richmond to Williamsburg and from King William County to Suffolk.
Princess Anne Hunt is privileged to hunt the beautiful farmlands and historic plantations along the James River. We welcome visitors and if you are interested in riding with us or visiting a hunt on foot, please contact one of us.
Princess Anne Hunt meets on Wednesdays and Saturdays (Sundays during the deer hunting season) from October through March. The Hunt maintains approximately 25 “couple” (i.e. pairs) of cross-bred fox hounds with kennels and stables located on the grounds of Sherwood Forest Plantation in the heart of the Hunt’s present day territory.
On this web site, you will find information about the history of our Hunt, the beautiful and historic fixtures that we have the privilege to hunt on and an updated calendar of exciting events. Please look around this site to learn more and to explore membership opportunities.

PAH WINS THREE RIBBONS AT VIRGINIA HOUND SHOW
Thanks and congratulations to Martyn and the PAH handlers! Thanks also to our sponsors for the 2018 Virginia Foxhound Show: Deidre Anderson (Moonbeam), Dick & Nancy Nance (Midnight), Scott & Linda Young (Daisy), and Sean & Therese O’Grady (Morton)
In addition to entering hounds, PAH was also represented by Edward Mitchell, MFH who served as Ring Steward in the Penn-Marydel Ring.
This marked a return to the Virginia Foxhound Show after a break of nearly two decades. Martyn has already proven to be a great ambassador for PAH with his efforts to show hounds in these events and we appreciate him getting the word out about our great Hunt!
